Adam Sandler went back to his comedic roots this week.
A source spotted the 51-year-old comedian at The Comic Strip in New York on Wednesday night.
He “brought the crowd to tears with his jokes and iconic songs,” the source told us, adding that Sandler also “joked about his bar mitzvah, sexual innuendos and, of course, his bestie Rob Schneider.”
The “Wedding Singer” star also thanked the club’s owner and manager “for giving him his start on that very stage at age 16.”
“It was such a honor to have Adam back at The Comic Strip. He and I go way back to the 80’s when he first got his start on this exact stage. Reminiscing about the past was such a privilege,” said Richie Tienken, founder and owner of The Comic Strip.
