Guinness World Record - The Longest Stand Up Comedy Show

On June 5th, 2008 at 10:30 pm, the Comic Strip Live set the Guinness World Record for the "Longest Stand Up Comedy Show In History" at 50 straight hours. It was an unprecedented achievement that sparked a media frenzy and perked the ears of million of people across the globe.

Over 100 A-list comedians performed at the event including Dave Attell, Judy Gold, Jeffrey Ross, Judah Friedlander, Rich Vos, and Greg Giraldo. William Stephenson defied all odds by actually emceeing the entire 50 hours event without taking a single break! 

No matter what hour of the day, 3 pm or 3 am, there was an audience present the entire time to witness history being made. It will forever be known as one of the most spectacular achievements in comedy history.
